Sláinte! (Friday, 28.8)

Yesterday it was apparently the guys' night out, because in the end of the evening only four of us were left playing cards and drinking Russian beer and vodka. Myself, the two Swedish guys - Emil & Johan - and Padraig, the Irish bloke. Padraig sounded funny when I told him to speak as if though he was half-Irish and half-Scottish :) You can imagine the rest... Malte was with us also, but after taking too many vodka shots and a bit of arm wrestling with both hands (dam his strong!) he decided that he is done for the night. Heike also played a while but was not in it for that long.

Earlier that evening we did have "so much" to do that we - all the German and Swedish+English girls included - tried first to remember all the countries in Africa and after that came Asia. I actually enjoyed this because, hell I don't know,
maybe I just enjoy knowing geographical things.

But back to the late evening. The four of us guys went to bed at 4 A.M. Moscow time, and the sun was just beginning to rise as the time really was ~7 A.M. at least.

Today I and Padraig listened to each others' music. Irish music is quite cheerful with many unbelievably beautiful songs also.

The food was especially good today after having bought some minced meat chunks, ready-made salad by a granny that sold it and a saboury bun with cabbage inside (actually I got it for free from Johan, because he found it somewhat repulsive) from the last station we stopped (Ilanskaya). A good combo. Some raspberries from Emil I also tasted, t'was very nice to eat something healthy for a change. Fish I did not dare buy because of the last epic failure with the fish-jerky. It started to stink so I threw it away. Shame on me.
