Neck is check!

Hey,

last evening before leaving for Hanguo (South Korea). Yesterday was quite nice but expensive, as Silja and I tried ACUPUNCTURE in this clinic, whose Dr. Peng spoke relatively good English, had previously worked in the U.K. and Hong Kong and had about 20 years of acupuncture experience. He first consulted us our reasons for being there, then checked some routine stuff (e.g. tongue, pulse) and finally did us the acupuncture. He had these straws through which he punched the needles into, or under, the skin. I had them in my neck, shoulders, upper back and lower back, according to my needs. After yanking them a little bit (a tad painful) he then put some kind of a heating lamp above the back to enhance the needles' effect by accelerating the superficial blood circulation. After laying down for some 20-30 minutes, Dr. Peng came back and removed the needles. After this he did some cracking and whacking for me: he cracked my spine whilst I was laying on my either side. Then he gave some rough-time with his massage, and finally he cracked my neck in the same fashion as they always break somebody's necks in any good Schwarzenegger or Stallone movie (is there any? :) yes there are..).

After the treatment I fel woozy in my head and my neck pain was gone. Previously, when I turned my head left or right to an extreme position, it was aching. Now it's not aching - nice. Though the man said we'd have to go there 4-5 times to achieve the final results for this type of muscular problems, it is a bit too expensive for our tastes. We would need to find some cheaper alternative, though I wouldn't want to be struck with AIDS-needles.. We'll see if the treatments shalt be continued. Anywhou, I'd recommend it warmly for anyone with back problems and wanting to achieve a relatively fast solution for getting rid of them. Be warned though, if you continue sitting in front of that computer and do not do anything to avoid similar problems, you'll pay pitkä penni for this form of treatment.

Xingqitian jian!
