Getting there

Hi!

It's been a long 23 hours here at Sheremetyevo airport (Moscow) waiting for the connecting flight to Delhi. I've certainly had time to... do nothing. Internet browsing, couple of movies, figuring out the best position to sleep on the "comfy" airport benches, eating some bortsch-soup, pirozhki and way too much sweet sugary-stuff. My back must be thanking me after couple of days of sitting (now that I think of it, it doesn't differ that much from the life back in Finland) in spine-wrenching positions.

The airport itself is quite neat, tidy and well-organized. No complaints whatsoever, vice versa: the free wi-fi connection is a rarity in airports. It's saved my life here, really. No bad word of Aeroflot as well. All's been good so far. But let's see if my backbag arrives to Delhi or not, I haven't seen it since Helsinki.

I bumped into this Latvian guy, who had bought a laptop from China and couldn't get the wi-fi to operate. I understood it was a problem with the overly-tight IE security settings, so I downloaded Firefox, saved it into usb-stick and installed it to this guy's 'puter. Voilá. The really fun part of this was that the guy was on his way to Beijing to continue studying Chinese. Yes, he had been in Helen's Cafe and Bar Revolution many times. I hear it's still the same :) Oh, how the world is small. Tai ku le!
